The aim of LEVS is to provide extracurricular lectures and practical activity days relevant to equine practice (as well as a few equine social events!). LEVS is also the Liverpool branch of the Student Equine Veterinary Association.
There is no membership fee to join LEVS (we run as part of LUVS) – anyone who is interested in any of our events is welcome to come along. Upcoming events will be circulated and added to our Facebook page.

Alice Faulds (5th year)
Hi I’m Alice and I am in final year (how did that happen?) and the LEVS president this year. This society is open to all who have an interest into equine field of veterinary work. We are a relatively new society and are always looking to grow and improve. If anyone has any events/topics they would like to see on the calendar, or any other questions, then please email me! My favourite equestrian activity has to be galloping along a beach and my favourite LUVS event would have to be any Leahurst party!
Hi I’m Rosie I have been on the LEVS committee for a number of years and have particularly enjoyed encouraging younger years to get involved in the out of hours work in the equine hospital!
Rowan Wright (3rd year)
Favourite discipline: Hunting and the production of young event horses.
Equestrian aspiration: To pursue a career as an equine surgeon, predominantly working with performance animals. Currently, my interests target both orthopaedic and stud science.
LEVS Event: Working to achieve a successful amount of sponsorship for delivery of a SEVA Symposium 2018 event, which is to be hosted by Liverpool Uni. I have had a fortunate upbringing, which has immersed me amongst a range of horses and disciplines. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people and conquering new personal limits, whilst remembering... "You only get one chance at life and you have to grab it boldly ~ Bear Grylls".
Hello I'm Harriet and I'm one of your Liverpool reps for this year! I love both the eventing and racing side of the horsey world and have done EMS at various studs and yards. My favourite discipline would be cross country as I love the buzz and adrenaline rush you get from it! My dream is to be a successful Equine vet to some top class eventers! The best LUVS event of the year has to be the welcome party. If you have any questions about LEVS or how you can get please don't hesitate to email me!
